Betsy

Her name isn't actually Betsy - or it wasn't supposed to be, but my sister wanted to see her, and so I had to save her first, but I had no name for her, so Ginny decided that she would be Betsy. Anyway, I doodled this girl in my Calculus notebook; the obvious influence was a book on drawing cartoons given to me by TearaS. And then I woke up this morning and sat around for a while before a lightning bolt of inspiration struck me, and I scanned her and cleaned her up and shaded her and colored her with my pretty shiny tablet computer. The division of labor was about 20-80 - the twenty percent being the doodle and the eighty being the computer - so she's in Digital Art.

I still need to work on the coloring a little, I think, and also the lines could stand to be cleaned up more, but overall, I think I like her.

ETA: That random fold at the bottom there is my last-ditch attempt to convince the world that she's wearing a skirt. It looks to me as though it failed - hence the explanation.
