I decided not to bother uploading that whole middle flat color phase, because, boring, and also nobody here needs to see three different versions of the same thing.

So, here is Shimira, the forest djinn, in all her glory. As long as you don't really try to figure out exactly where the light source is, she actually looks halfway decent, which is a pleasant milestone for me. There was a point in the middle of the whole shading process where I thought I was totally screwed and she was going to come out looking completely horrible; I had no idea I would end up so happy with her.

Which, of course, does not mean that there aren't plenty of things wrong. I think there's something goofy about her eyes - besides the whole green glowy thing, that was on purpose - and the shadows are definitely not all quite right. Also, there was obviously a point where I just gave up on the head of her spear, because it was totally pwning me. If you see anything else you think is off, please, leave con crit.

Also, green hair is fun.
