I seem to have kind of a thing for names that start with "sh".
 Anyway, this is Shimira. She's a wood nymph, in a certain sense; wood nymphs guard, you know, individual glades, and Shimira guards a rainforest approximately the same size as the Amazon basin. Anyway, in her - world? universe? story-thing? - she is called a forest djinn, and she does have a bit of that trickster thing going.Apparently, I'm entering a phase of not only bizarrely high productivity, but also fascination with poses. Yes, her toes look very strange, but the foreshortening on her one hand doesn't look nearly as bad as I was expecting it to, so I'm happy. Con crit very very welcome, as per usual. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
